I apologize for back to back posts but I had to share this.
As we were driving to the school this morning, T informed me that I needed to get busy and get my stories written so I can stay home and right full time. I mentioned to him that it had almost been a month since I had submitted my poem.
“Mom remember they have a lot to go through.”
I beamed from ear to ear and told T that he had made my entire day. He could not understand what he had done and I did not explain.
I am still smiling with warm fuzzies that he is my son.
Clearly he understands what you would tell him. That’s a great feeling! Congratulations!

Thank you so much. He is my diamond in the rough lol although he would most likely disagree. 🙂

Listen to the wise one. My daughter told me to be a writer 13 years ago. I’m finally taking her advice!

I have been writing up a storm. Poetry mostly. However I started a short story that has completely evolved into a novel and my main character went from male to female. I keep telling him once we win the lottery I will quit and focus full time on my writing. Until than I will write whenever I get the opportunity as well as making the time for it. And aren’t children so smart? Sometimes they see the things that we cannot.
