Once more I would like to thank Grateful Single Moms for the nod. At first I was like ahhhhhh I don’t have any quotes and than found that I did. Today’s was going to be  ‘Tomorrow is another day’ but I was scrolling through Facebook and found a different one.

Rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  • Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
  • Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

My quote today is:

I stopped living the life I wanted before it could even begin. I have been existing for so long. This last bout with depression has re-awoken the desire, the need to write the words and stories that are floating around in my head. (I nearly said tiny little mind but K and DD would be after me about that-no negative thinking)

Also I can honestly say that I am falling in love with myself. I am protecting myself and being who I was meant to be. And that means being brave and letting go of past hurts and wrongs. It means forgiving myself. It means letting go of the toxicity I find in parts of my life.

Of late a lot of things have been making sense to me suddenly, as though the universe has finally had enough and is giving me a broad kick in the butt to wake me up. And I am awake now, ready to chase and find my dream and love myself.

My nominees are:

PersonalGrowth&Success

Crazylittlethings

Sara in LaLaLand

I am hoping that they will join in the fun and I look forward to seeing their quotes and why they are special.

Here is a list of some brands that still test on animals:

  • Benefit Cosmetics
  • Avon
  • Bobbi Brown
  • Clinique
  • L’Oreal
  • MAC Cosmetics
  • Maybelline
  • Rimmel London
  • Revlon
  • NARS

I know these brands are really popular, and even I used their products, but after finding this out I will no longer be supporting any of these brands. I strongly hope that the people who read this…
