Bleached Bones

**Picture found on Internet**
Bleached bones
erupt from sands of blood red
showering the world with pain.
Tears of widows
wept in sorrow
attempt to cleanse the stains.
Acid etched on their souls.
Orphaned children
turned into killers
molded to hate
without a reason why.
Soldiers march passed
each in step
guns slung over shoulders
designed to maim.
Religion is rising
hatred is preached
mankind has become blinded
by the glory of wealth.
This is a time of disrepair
and not a one repents.
Instead they stand
with open hands
taking it all
whilst they
bleed the world of human taste.

This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
