Shackled

It began in the back rooms
a small deal here and there
men
women
bathed in blood
unafraid
unconcerned about what they have done.
One hired a Hitman
to take out a rival.
One leaked information
that took down a Corporation.
One methodically hunted
and thinned
his Partner’s wives
until they all gave in.
Evil in genius
horrors in morals
all it took was one small word.
An investigation begun
wire taps
hidden cameras
an informant
the damage was done.
Taken away in shackles
lead to jail straight away
the nightmare only really begins
when all the guards go away.

Author: Jay-lyn Doerksen

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
