Fairy Tale

I do not understand.
You have changed me.
Changed my thoughts
my wants
my everything.
Pushing
pulling
encouraging
I have begun to dream
a dream that I never thought was meant for me.
You are no prince
I am definitely no princess.
Flawed
we flow together
melding of minds
emotions
understanding
at the basest level.
Not one of intellect
but
one based on…
souls calling to one another
bleeding
bare
laid their secrets.
Bodies fit together
made for each other
not a space between
as they lay
content
alive
in love.
When I was little
I had an idea of
fairy tale love.
As I grew
I knew it was an illusion…
until
I met you.
Fairy Tales
do exist for the broken.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
