Protected Three

Grey Goose
Grey Goose
what do you see?
I see three harpies laughing at me.
Gargoyle ugly
Three Sisters May
frightening they were.
Small children
some dares taken
most were not
for the Three Sisters May
ate them for breakfast
when they were caught.
None looked too close.
None cared for small children gone.
Had they looked a little closer
they might have seen…..
the little ones who disappeared
treated like filth
by those who should have cared.
Taken to shelter
to a place
where children are children
not pawns in a game.
Had they paid the slightest
smallest iota of attention
a connection could be made.
They would have discovered
a slew of unmissed men.
Those that died
All had one thing in common
pedophiles they all were
each missing a….
rather important part.
For the Three Sisters May
protected the innocent
making the evil ones pay.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom

      1. Well. This is why I never really get into any deep conversations with you. First, I know nothing and second, I don’t want you to hurt.

      2. If you knew the oddities I went through before I met her, you’d understand. Lol! I know not all women are crazy, but it seemed I met those who made it a profession.

      3. Lol! I’ll take it!

I had a gf, 5 years younger than me, left me for a guy 20 years older than me.

Had a gf who wrote letters about how excited she was to have me. Then she and her mom denied we were ever together!

Had a gf who had a very eerie fascination with Justin Timberlake. She was 24 at the time… JL pillow cases, sheets, blankets, curtains, posters everywhere. Etc. then left me for a guy she complained about wanting to sleep with her all the time…

        These are just a few..
