silky smooth water

crystal clear

I wade through

lost in my thoughts

my wonderings

head so far in the clouds

many wonder

are my feet on the ground?

I am a lonely girl

building sand castles

from fluffy white clouds

when all I want

all I need…..

Romance

love

adoration

once words I spoke aloud

with meaning

emotion

now are dead

tasteless

tripping from my tongue

venom to the soul.

with moats 

with gates

along the sea shore

Courage

bravery

determination

I will move through

face the pain

give grief its home

yearning for absolution

ability to forgive myself.

building fantasies

romances

holding my heart captive
