Never Again

Vapid

emotionless

a void where hearts should be

assaulted

on a daily basis

with the evils of this world.

Children dying in the dust

turned into murderers

rapists

turned into ravenous wolves

baying into the future.

Women knocked to the ground

raped

impregnated

with the seeds of dissent

with fear

rising up

calling for change.

Scaring

misogynistic

elite

entitled

old men

now hunted into extinction.

Gnawing

chewing on the bones

gorging on immorality

swallowing piece by piece

the tainted seas.

No more 

never again

will children rape

will women fall

beaten into submission.

No more

never again

will innocents be prey…..

to the pressure

to the desires

to the sordid fingers

of the depraved.
