Bag of Wind

At first it seemed to entertain
an idiot and his world.
People sat
glued to their televisions
watching
laughing
sure he was a goon.
Behind the scenes
various acts play out
all designed
to ensure
success
not failure.
Stand
boasting of all you have
all you own…..
Your kept wives.
Your forgotten children.
You know no love.
You know not…..
compassion
sympathy
empathy
all you know
a confidence game
give them a show
fall they will
stars in their eyes.
When the first bomb exploded
you assured all you could handle
no one would dare attack again
for you are the greatest
they need to fear.
Scales begin to fall
truth becomes lies
lies become truth
infatuation dissolving
as the mask crumbles
with your childish tirades.
You are not the new god.
You are not the new hope.
You are not even a man
but a small child
whose parents never disciplined.
Tantrums and tirades
deceit and distortion
red faced
throw self to ground
screaming in rage
when everyone fails to play your way.
Your game.
Your rules.
Poor man
(not a man)
Poor boy
(play at war)
should we annihilate?

                  1. ha ha ha… I have not met you and I am sure you are NOT like a monk. but in this tiny pic.. like seriously, it looks so much monk-style that I have started to expect you posting some buddhist teachings on your blog. LOL 🙂

                    1. …. and (pls. allow me to be a bit chatty here), even your name “Jay-lyn” sounds buddhist. I mean there are so many coincidental similarities that I could not hold myself back from sharing it with you. Now, you’d have to actually wear a cloth in a monk-style and post a selfie on your blog. 🙂

                    2. Awesome 🙂 Whenever you post it, Please do send me an E-mail if you can since I don’t check my blog that often. Your parents seem to be as creative like yourself.

                    3. Another surprise, in this tiny pic, you don’t look like a girl or a woman. You actually look like a boy that your parents dreamed of. Wow… what a coincidence.. actually quite spooky 🙂

                    5. I can see it at http://en.gravatar.com/daisymae874 but at wordpress probably you’d have to change it through their WP Admin (the old one) menu where it says profile. It might also take 24 hours to actually show in some cases. Btw.. in your pic, you have such beautiful hair and those green eyes. Wow… I hope you are not taken.. LOL

                    6. Now I have gazillions of questions like “How long are your hair”, “Do you keep them free flowing or do you bind them”, etc. But I’d save you from my curious cat 🙂

                    7. Lol when wet it is passed my shoulder blades. Dry it is just passed mt shoulders lol. And I let it go naturally on the days I don’t work. When I do work (40 hours a week) I pull the top part back and clip it. The rest I leave free. It curls into ringlets and then when I comb it it becomes waves.

                    8. what a wonderful description of such beautiful hair. You’re a natural writer, I can see. Instead of us flooding your comments section, do you prefer Google Chat or Facebook Messenger? I can see us having lots of fun already 😉
