Word of the Day Challenge #59-Untitled Poem

Eyes meet across the room
sizzling sparks
air in between
fragrant with desire
as all move out of their way.
Panther like grace
he stalks his pray
delicate gazelle
strength hidden in plain sight.
Music fades to whispers
everyone
everything
background in a movie
blurred in their vision
only seeing each one.
Within her he finds his core.
Within him she finds her safety.
Extended hand
bend over
slightest graze of lip
hint of breath on skin
burns through
shudder at welling heat
staring into each other.
His hand slides down her hip
gathers her close
her hand around his neck
looking into his eyes
nothing else matters.
Slow
sensual
their movements around the room
felt
sizzling
electric
stunned are those who watch.
Music ends
reality returns
their eyes locked
seeing nothing
hearing nothing
not wanting the fantasy to end.

I am a single hard working mom in her 40's. I have always written poetry and I love words. I live with depression and its ups downs. This is a space where I can create and write all that I need to.
