Justice in Darkness

Waiting
full moon lays waste to plans.
Waiting
clouds to scuttle vision of those who pay.
Waiting
shadows become my lover
wrapping me tight
shielding me from those who look
holding their breath
fear turning to delight.
Hush now
steady whisper of the wind.
Hush now
leaves rustle with each passing step.
Hush now
tinkle of shedding water
tilt of head
eyes glisten
I cannot be seen
I cannot be found
I am the Devil’s Huntress
the deviant hound.
Judge.
I listen with my eyes
see with my ears.
Jury.
I see the pain.
I hear the lies.
I pass my judgement
not in vain.
Executioner.
Flee before me.
I shall run you to ground
slay you
betray you
as you did the little ones.
I will not jeopardize
this plot of annihilation
for evil must be made to pay.
I will stalk you.
I will dance with you.
I will toy with you
before you are bled.

This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
