Deadly Tumble

Twisted tongue
curdled words
hurled
willy nilly
not a one caring
the damage done.
I am so sorry.
I really did try.
Just…..
you were really horrid.
Bad in bed.
Bad in life.
Bad at love.
I could not last any longer
hanging around with you.
I slipped you a mickey
watched your eyes glaze over
took your hand
and out the door we walked
you were never coming back.
Walk along the cliff
I am on the inside
you closest to the edge.
When I stumble
you do not try to catch me
which makes it easy
to bump into you.
Cliff crumbling beneath clawed nails
you stare up at me
desperate
screaming for help
will I watched you.
Slowly step forward
watching you let go
slip
fall away
your body crumpled on the rocks.
