Wrong One

Glittering in darkness
feral eyes
following every move
caressing every curve
waiting until he can claim her.
Make her
mark her
as his own.
Means to an end
gyrate to music
same moves every day
choreographed
bend
shake
grind
dollars in the g-string.
Drool
lips slick
playing
jiggling
under the table
fierce grin
sensations roar
sight narrowed to one girl
the chosen one.
Made him
he could be trouble
stalker trouble
do not make eye contact
same smile for all.
Night’s end
girls leaving
groups of two
three
none dumb enough to walk alone.
Cars in darkness
lit by street lights
shadowed spaces never really seen
check the backseat
before opening door.
Wait……
had it not been locked?
Senses alert
slip into seat
hackles raised
flick of wrist
blade extends.
Quick breath in
lust surges
leap up
reach for swan like neck
pristine
for now….
scream
reflex
training takes over.
Blood covered
feral eyes glitter in the night
wait for the police…..
he picked the wrong woman to fuck with.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
