Elite Scrimmage

Crimson moon
scuttled dark
tempers flare
short
walk away quickly
before
death does come
he is tired
of waiting in the corner.
Leaning upon his scythe
waiting
dreaming for the time
when you will fuck up
think without care
speak without reason
as I listen
wondering
head cocked to the side
how much further do you dare?
Push me
tempt me
keys pressed violently
deep breath
control the red dimmed vision
you ninny
dancing around
ape like
only
they are smarter.
Tarnished copper crown
falls
rolling through dusted floors
crocodile tears
ranting
how this is so undeserved
how could we be so mean
how could we be……
medieval like
as his head does roll
right to my boot toe
I just smile
death always did like
a good game of soccer.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
