Gravid Remembrances

On days like this
grey
overcast
sullen clouds
leaden tears about to fall
you never fail
to stroll through my mind.
No longer with tears
no longer with fear
rage
simmers
low beneath the surface
you will be bled.
Gargoyle keeper
shrine to the devil
lashed to beam
broken skin
lacerations
shredded skin.
Your hell
my nirvana
those screams
music
pealing for eternity.
Covered in crimson gore
teeth white in rictus
insanity laced laughter
echoes through the cavern
as I dance
’round your corpse
satisfaction
finally mine.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
