Executioner’s Blind

Garish streaked blonde
lipstick
vivid orange
eyes bled in black
laughter
loud
grating
all eyes upon her
none watching
silent shadows in the dark
sidle along the walls
eyes piercing
hunting
this is our life.
Scarlet red
flushed face
drunken bofoon
falling from her dress
all eyes drawn back
time and time again
while they sate.
Blue and white
ying and yang
dance around the pole
loud music
derisive laughter
poor poor boys
they never learn.
She is the face
I am the sword
all eyes on her
over the top
no one ever sees me
Edge through the darkness
blade hidden deep
sink into soft flesh
avenging
stolen souls
broken dreams
battered bodies
no one shall ever leave.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
