Revivification of Self

Waves pounding
blue hues thrown to air
sparkling diamonds
sun pouring through
as I dance withing crested waters.
Freedom.
Giving self permission to love.
Giving self permission to fail.
Giving self permission to grow.
Giving self love.
Watch from the sand
reveling in passion
rejuvenation of woman
expression through desire
through touch
fall down
my cold thigh
yours hot from the sun
watch goose bumps pop
as my flesh warms.
Content
laying
sun basking flesh
drowsy
smile adorns my face.
Learn to embrace the unpredictable.
Learn to embrace the world around.
Realized I can only be responsible
for me
my thoughts
my actions.
That it is impossible to know the mind of another.
Your fingers catch mine
drawn to lips
soft kiss
smile wreaths my face
jumping up
pulling you to your feet
dash into the waves.
We have the whole beach…..
to ourselves…..
wicked glee flares
as in we dive.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
