Wide Awake Again-Holiday Diary Day 2

Well now here we are day 2 and I even stayed up late last night. 

It was close to 11 before I went to bed. 

Slept straight through. 

No cats playing on me. 

No cats scratching at the closet door. 

So please tell me why at 4 a.m. my eyes popped open?

And not only that but I was wide awake.

Three cups of coffee have been consumed.

Discovered that Tember left the rotisserie chicken in the microwave. 

Since Tuesday….. 

Could have been worse if our temps had been above 25. Thankfully not though had they been I would have discovered the chicken sooner. 

It is a cool morning here despite the temperature being 15 already. I have had to close the window a tad as the breeze is chilly.

 

I will be going to pick Tember and his best friend up this morning. I am ready to go now but they are probably still asleep. Don’t think that the ex would be too happy if I showed up on the doorstep banging on the door at 8 a.m. so I wait for a summoning. 

 

Who knows l may nap at 9 today instead of 10.
