Fish Optometry

Today on the way to school Tember and I are discussing the need to go and have our eyes checked.

Tember dislikes having his eyes checked as ‘they shine bright lights in my eyes mom. And if my eyes changed I would tell you.’

Me: Well I know I have to have my fishes checked.

We were driving by a local restaurant which had a sign out front: Pickerel Fish Fry

And there you have it folks a direct view into the crazy mind of mine.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
