Come the King

Stand at mirror
left
right
front
back
all looks right
all looks tight
first date jitters
never thought
me
of all people
at this prospect.
Feelings
drawn
quartered
felt
before
eyes laid upon
know your voice
imprinted in my mind
commands to follow
breathless
waiting
wanting
smooth hair
hips
hands no where to go.
Doorbell rings
heart stutters
rapid beating
pulse
flaring
skin jumping
goose pebbled
one last glace
one last look
everything
nearly perfect
sultry smile
hooded eyes
pull door open
lean against
legs suddenly shaking
nipples erect
you
slide your hands into my hair
pull me close
our bodies fitting
pieces melded
your lips on mine
this……
this…..
whimper
collared
your babygirl
forever more.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
