Indignant Failure

Glassy eyed
malevolent prophesy
sit
growling
deep in fantasy
gripped by insanity
building
despot
bellowing for anarchy
blows
ceaselessly on fire’s blaze
incinerating
inciting
a deadly fuse.
Call to arms
desperate to retain
political reverence
despite
voices raised
fingers pointed
marking the way
ousted
betrayed
stolen
brays blonde ass
bayonets raised
take back
what is rightfully ours.
Silent
stone cold
friends no more
quick step back
quick evacuate
two meters
no longer enough
to escape
stench of failure
clinging
death suit
even
plot you do
sad
pathetic
little old man
time has come
for you run
hoping there shall be…..
no betrayal.
