nightmare run

delight taken

tortures devised

Games

laughter

bartered

soul singed in flames

burned

blistered

let me die

I whispered

no one heard

no one cared

left me alone

plotting

life will be lived

life will be avenged

stolen

I will rip it back again.

Fear

thick

coats my tongue

liquid burgundy

sweat

slicks your skin

words

tumble

fierce

self preservation

promise me more

promise me others

promise me…..

I took your promise.

I took their names.

I thanked you for your sacrifice.

Eyes wide

blood sprays

watching

life eke from within

smile on my lips

angel of vengeance

I ride again.
