Untitled Dark Poem #8

Staining darkness
wraiths
shades scream
dancing
following
worrying strands of hair
plucking loose clothing
distraction
my familiars
bound unto me
in death
as they bound me
in hatred
in chains
in loss of innocence.
Bathed in blood
wine red
dripping from childish nipples
howls
sacrificed
upon dais of entitlement
whilst
devil’s kin
dance
whirling
shrieking
in devout sickness
to masters unseen.
I grew
shadowed eyes
knives for nails
seeking
those who tore
asunder my life
my virginity
my innocence
until I called upon their own dark masters
and vengeance shall be mine.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom

  1. Beautiful words darkly spoken
    Mixed sky
    Storm brewing sunset

Last nights clouds looked like curling smoky lines stretched out like long feathers with curling down.
