Let’s Hear it For…..Me!

Today was the day.

2nd shot and I messaged a friend and told her that I fully expect super powers now given I received a shot of both Pfizer and Moderna.

Or that third eye I was wanting to grow on the back of my head so I could freak everyone out. 👁

I will keep you updated but I will be sorely disappointed if I don’t at least start to draw unicorns to me. 🦄🦄🦄

Guess what time of the year it is?

Evaluation time. 😁😁😁😁

I hate evaluations.

Hate them. 😳

Even though I know mine will be good I still get that feeling in the pit of my stomach when I am called to the back.

Thursday was the day.

Shhhhhhhhhhh don’t tell anyone but the day before I got a message asking me what I thought I needed to work on throughout the next year.

K said she wracked her brain all the way home and could come up with nothing.

You know your evaluation is good when…..

As expected it was all good.

And me being ever the comedian had to make a couple of quips.

K: Your customer skills are excellent. You are always bending over backwards for your curbside customers.

Me (laughing): But not the regular customers.

K: No no that is not what I meant at all.

Me: I know I am making fun of myself.

And that is why I have to be in a till at least once a week. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

At the end of the evaluation K thanks me on behalf of herself, the store and management.

There is also a space where we can make suggestions on things that we think need to be worked on.

Me: I would like to make a request that L does not call me by my full name when he pages me. It freaks me out. I totally think I am in trouble.

K (laughing): You have said that a couple of times.

Me: Even as a kid mom always called me Jay. When Jay-lyn came out I knew I was in trouble. When Jay-lyn Anne came out I knew I should hide. When Jay-lyn Anne Helgason came out I was out the door heading towards the Yukon. 🏃🏃🏃🏃

I am soon I hope going to be able to hug my friends.

I hope soon I can hold V’s new baby boy and pinch his cute little cheeks.

I hope soon I can take V’s daughter out for ice cream like I promised I would.

And I hope that next year I will be able to give mom a chance to use my full name.

Being double vaccinated and all.

LOL I used that term and confused one of my gf’s.

Apparently fully and double vaccinated do not mean the same thing.

I think they do.
