I Did It Again

I was in a till today.

Lots of customers in the morning.

Was smoking busy in the morning but the afternoon was dragging.

I put out stock for the smoke wall and coffee.

Came home a half hour early.

I was rocking my customer service today.

And having so much fun with my customers.

Lots of laughter.

I had one lady come through and we were talking about customer service.

Mentioned to her that I have been thinking about teaching customer service.

I could set up seminars and work from home.

She thought that that was an absolutely awesome idea.

C: Just the other day I was in one of the other stores. Your competitors.

Me: Oh?

C: Yes and the service was horrible. I was so appalled by the service I received.

Coming here today I made a note to see how the customer service is here. And you are amazing.

Me: Thank you so very much. And I am so sorry. Even though you were not at our store it still bothers me that you received bad service.

My customer left happy.

I helped several more customers today making them happy.

Found one customer a grill brush cleaner.

I had taken him down the aisle and he laughed about how fast I walked.

We were unable to find it despite my being sure that we carried them.

I walked along the back aisle and found one.

Ran to the front of the store and found the customer before he left the store.

Yesterday another of my customers I hunted down to give her the block of headcheese she had been looking for.

I love making people happy.

Simple as that.

And I am very good at doing so.
