It was Intentional

Loki is a strange one.

Both he and Thomas love my fish oil capsules I take.
Every so often I will even give each of them one and they play with them.

This morning after Thomas was finished Loki decided that it was his turn.
I was sitting on the couch when I saw him pick the capsule up and drop it in the small box I had put on the floor.
He seemed to be batting around trying to find it.
Pushed the box.
Finally I got up and took the box, shaking it and turning it upside down.
No capsule.
I sat back down and Loki looked at me.
He pushed the box and found the capsule.
He picked it up.
He leaned over the box and dropped it in there.

He had done it intentionally.
He then bounced into the box and took it out so he could play with it on the floor.
Loki also uses the grey tube because the capsules slide down and he drapes himself over it or pushes it around.
I get such a kick out of watching him play.

I also discovered that he likes scratches.
I mean major scratches and I have to carry him around for about 5 minutes talking to him and scratching  under his chin before he goes to bed.
This little guy has such a big personality.
Although the 3 a.m. playing with Thomas is getting a little out of hand.

Me Time

Today was an awesome day.
I sat in the sun and read.
Finished off Murder in the Multiverse by R.E. McLean.
I really enjoyed but there is physics and a lot of technical mushed in.
And have begun The Great Pockes by R.B. Taylor.
Earlier this morning my post was going to be angry.
Again I was reading and again ignorance was being displayed in all its glory.
However I was so angry that I needed a cooling off period.
If I had written then it would have been a froth of angry thoughts with little cohesion.
So I am letting it simmer.
Which left me with a hole for today’s post.
I mean what do I write about?
This morning when I was out I was sunning my back.
This afternoon I was out in my zero gravity chair reading and enjoying the cool breeze that would kick up every now and then.
Suddenly the wind picked up a little more and I was content to ignore it because the sun was hot and it was cooling me off when it felt like I am being pelted with sand.
As odd as that was I looked over to my left and…..
Before my eyes the dust began to form into a cyclone picking up green leaves only from the ground.
It moved quietly dancing along the ground and I swear I could see a shape.
Mere fancy I know.
For a moment I thought it might speak to me.
I watched as it spun around the side of the building and saw it collapse leaves falling to the ground.
I have lived here for 6 years.
And have been sitting outside for 6 years that never ever has that occurred before.
It was really cool.
Had it spoken to me I might have freaked right out or maybe I might have made a new friend.
