Suggestions anyone?

      1. I’ve seen Dead to Me and G&F but not that last one. Right now, when I have time, I’m watching 9 Perfect Strangers on Hulu, and American Horror Stories. And, of course, The final season of The Walking Dead. But now that Dad is staying with me, I can’t watch much.

  1. We liked a few UK productions released recently – there is a new series of “Vera”, which is always fun – watching her boss around her team and the way no criminals intimidate her – she is a gem!!

There was a series called “Professor T”, which was ok. I love the lead actor Ben Mills – I could watch him in anything. It had a safe, almost comic feel to it that takes away all the sinister element. It reminded me of “MacDonald & Dodds”. I think that UK audiences sometimes want their drama to be a little less disturbing than some previous dramas.

Without any comic element, is “Silent Witness” a new series starts tomorrow. Ben wants to go back and watch it from it’s start with Amanda Burton, but I don’t think he is ever going to find the time for that.

What else? Well, we are watching Masterchef – the UK version is different than the US version – it is more about actual cooking and they say goodbye to a contestant without a fanfare of tears. It is just about who makes the best food – period.

Do you have access to BBC i-player or ITV i-player? There are loads of full box sets of dramas. Ben thinks that “Lewis” and “Endeavour” which are both spin offs of Inspector Morse which was popular in the UK for many years are great. You have to be awake when you watch them though – sometimes they are too clever for me to follow.

The BBC have produced all sorts of slightly bizarre dramas and some have been huge hits . “In The Line Of Duty” was very popular. I am guessing you have already seen some of the hit comedy shows like “Fleabag”?

    1. Yes. I keep cycling through. Sometimes it is just to have background noise on but still has to be something I like. I threw on Big Mouth again for the 4th or 5th time. Today I think will be music day and even that is hard. Not sure what is causing this general malaise (only word I could think to use) but not in depressed way. More like nothing meets my fancy. Even reading is a little difficult at moment. Not sure what is going on

      1. I think sometimes we just want a change!!! I cannot tell you how many times I just want something new and fresh and different. That’s why travel has always been so popular – but the Pandemic has perhaps kept us in the same zone longer than we would have liked.

        1. I know I need a change am unsure what though. I keep moving living room around. I have moved my bedroom twice in less than 6 months and it only has two configurations. I spend a lot of time playing games on phone to try and keep itchiness at bay. Eventually I will figure it out.
