Time’s Twisted Tines

Tick Tock
look at the hawk
flying
meandering through the skies.
Tick tock
face of a clock
laid out afore me;
step up
step down
step up
go round and round.
Humpty Dumpty
he sure had a fall
cracked into
a thousand pieces
giggling
one eye
staring up at the sky
his leg
set in motion
as around I stepped his sin.
One hand up
One hand down
time
slooooooooooooooooooooows
melting
fading
blackness
trip along with the crazies.
Tick Tock
hands on the clock
know how to kill me.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
