Can you feel it?
Stealthy
wending
cold fingers pressing.
Given color
violent shades of grey and black
thunder storms that ride upon the heart
crackling thunder piercing the soul
falling to my knees
screaming at the skies
desperation making me weak.
Head back
eyes swallowed whole in blackness
shuddering
vile arms wrapping around
holding me still
as from broken mouth
roars
pours
agony upon agony
scar upon scar
violently shredding
tender aura
until no more can I take.
Now I lay me down to sleep
The Goddess my wisdom to keep.
Should I die ‘afore I wake
The Goddess my wisdom to take.
Withstood the storm
on my knees
on my stomach
hands clutching muddied earth
feeling the festering
boiling sadness
anger that borders on homicidal
reborn lamb
clutched within her dappled hand
found
no longer forgotten.
