After much hemming and hawing and I cannot do it I did it. I plasticed my windows to stop the heat from escaping from there. I have seen the wavy lines in the air outside when I look out the window.
Super proud of myself for doing them.
Would like to introduce my girls to you.
My Spider Plant is Louise Elizabeth. She is a drama queen. Very upset that when I transplanted her I kinda squished her. Last week she attempted to get revenge by falling on my head. Or face rather.
Next to her is Ivy only so called because she is feeling very shy and has yet to trust me with it. Doing very well as you can see since her transplant.
Next to her is Lily. She did not even give me her name lol she announced herself to a girl friend via text. LOL Lily was in the picture.
Beneath Louise is Shirl. She had some blooms when I first brought her home but lost them. The poor thing was so root bound that today I took a chance and repotted her. Fingers crossed that she will be happier.
Middle girl still being shy and am not sure why.
My final girl is Lottie. She also is a little root bound but still has buds and one is not to transplant when they are in bloom.
This is Ramses. He has a rather regal bearing and thinks he is a Pharaoh.
They bring me great happiness and I enjoy chatting with them. They are a planted audience. LOL LOL LOL

nice little garden. I have growing more than a few avocado trees in my backyard. My first avocado tree I named Alvy. Alvy has been struck by lighting twice. Froze to near death (but came back to life in the spring). The last lightning strike looked like it killed him at last. So I had my tree crew clean him up and take away the falling parts. This did not stop Alvy. He has sprouted 5 trunks from the original trunk and is getting bigger every day.

Nice! I had a fig tree once that survived fire and twice having my Rotti Nero take exception to and ate part of the root twice. Each time it came back even better. We had a late freeze and it had been outside. The frost killed it.

Thank you for introducing your girlfriends to us readers! They are quirky and full of personality.
Hope they keep thriving and settle well after transplant.
Have a great weekend and good job on sealing your window!!

I can’t have those they are toxic to cats. And I have two who would want to eat it. And no place to put it without them getting to it. 🤷

I am sorry. It is hard when our for babies leave us. Whether we are there at the end or not (My Patches went out one night and never came home) it still hurts.
