Um Say what?

T and me are at home together this week with my holidays and his school break. Yesterday it was announced they were going to have the kids do remote learning for a week returning to in-person learning Jan. 17. With how contagious the Omicron strain the teachers and school divisions wanted to ensure safety was first.

My first attempt to wake him this morning was just me jabbing him to make sure he was still breathing. Why would I do this? Thomas. And his crying. Running back and forth.

My second attempt scared him. Again. I leaned over his bed, looming and stared at him. When that was not enough I said his name. His eyes fluttered open and his face disappeared into his head and chin. As I roared with laughter telling him I wish I had a camera to take picture of his face he informed me I was in no way, shape or form funny. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Even as I write that I am crying with laughter.

T came meandering into the kitchen after I told him to use bathroom as I want to go in for a soak. At the moment we have milk and water to drink. T had milk with his breakfast. I watch as he goes to the cupboard, opens the door before I say:

If you are getting milk do not get another cup use the other one.

T closed the door and walked passed me.

Were you seriously going to get another cup for milk?

Yep.
