Oh No! He’s Annoyed

T and I had a small argument yesterday during which he told me he had taken the garbage down the other day it was my turn. I explained that it was a chore and I do lots of them, he only has a few.

He stomped out of the house and when he returned with a red nose and a surly attitude he was not impressed I had neglected to tell him about the weather. I could not help it I had to needle him.

T: You could have told me that it was freezing out!

Me: Um it is January that is a given.

He storms passed me into his room. I poked my head in and looked at the rounded hump with the blankets pulled up to his chin. He had his back to me.

Me: Are you seriously upset with me?

T: Yes.

Me: For how long?

B:

Me: Til tomorrow?

T:

I left his room laughing. Am I wrong in this? Like really? We live in Manitoba Canada, it is always cold in the winter. We were under an extreme cold weather warning.

And yet I should have told him it was cold out? You know if I had he would have been mad at me for that and I would hear ‘I am not dumb mom!’

No winning for me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
