Clifftop Rebirth

Golden motes of sunlight
criss cross
delicate dance
upon cerulean waves.
Sand
smoothly clean
devoid even of crustaceans
no evidence of last night’s storm.
Emerald green grass
damp
with dew drop diamonds
glistening
prisms of color
mirrored in the sea.
Morning call
melodies of a thousand birds
bees flirting
with first budding flowers
carrying their nectar away.
Scoured clean myself
pain
remorse
anguish
fled beneath last night’s wrath
leaving…..
A Goddess.
A Warrior.
A Priestess.
A Wise Woman.
All of them combined.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
