Did You Just Mansplain me?

On our drive to school today, along our route, there were signs saying:
No Parking.
House moving.
Signs were on both sides of the street.
Me: Why do they put no parking on this side of the street? No one parks here. They only park over there.
T: Mhmmmmm.
Me: The signs say no parking house moving but they don’t even park on this side of the street.
Just the other side. I mean until you get up there. And where is the house? How do you know which one is moving?
T: What?
Me: The signs. Why do they have on this side too? They only park on the other side.
T: Mom the signs say no parking house moving. Why do they have on this side of the road? Parking is only on the other side of the street.
Me: Did you just mansplain me?
T: No I just was saying that they don’t park on this side of the street.
Me: You literally repeated what I just said.
T: No I said it first.
Me (laughing so hard I am crying): No you did not. I did. And you just repeated it right back at me.
T: No I said it first.
Me: No you did not. I did.
I pulled into the drop off lane and both of us were laughing so hard.
T gave me a kiss and hopped out of the car.
I drove off with a smile on my face.
It was an awesome start to the morning.
