Lost Love’s Eternal Need

Have you seen
dark
tumultuous
crashing waves;
bruised in color
slamming
crushing against hardened sand
sucked eagerly back
a hunger
a searing need
for lost souls
sacrificed to watery graves?
Ghosts
creeping
fog glowing
chill in the air
as they come
silent
riding
bobbing
fading
returning to the deep
as calmed
the sea becomes
mirrored glass
beneath which lays
a veritable graveyard
of forgotten bones,
forgotten men
still riding phantom waves
searching for their lost loves.

This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
