She Leapt Out At Me

I face south and have sunshine all day long. Because of this I need plants/flowers that will thrive in direct sunlight. Today as I passed by the floral department at work my eyes fell upon the above beauty. And I have brought her home.

She is a lavender plant. Needs bright light constant sunlight. There will be a need to do a lot of watering but that is so okay. I love lavender. Wish me luck that I will be able to keep it alive.

I was asked this week if I wanted to do the Food Safety Champion job as the girl doing it now is too busy with subbing at the schools and does not have the time to keep up. It takes three hours a week. Which means I am now going to only be scheduled in a till for 5 hours a week.

I am so pumped. I love my curbside. I love being on the floor helping customers and believe it or not facing the aisles. There is an intense sense of satisfaction to look down the aisle and see it all straight and lined up. I even told the boss that too. What I do not love? Standing still in a till for 8 hours. Not always busy. And I am not able to handle that.

Then to make things even better I was asked if I wanted to work tomorrow. A five hour shift. Doing the tidying up, refilling, facing and sorta keeping an eye on the younger kids at work. Which cut me down to only three hours I would need to work which i am doing Friday when I go in at 8 for training.

But my weekend starts at 11 a.m.

Then I am back on Sunday because drum roll please…..May 19th I begin my holidays at 10 a.m. I cannot wait. I am going to read. I am going to write. I am going to indulge myself in some sitting out in the sunshine. I am going to recharge.

10 days off.

I cannot wait!!!!!!!
