Heart pounding

ratcheting

empty hollow inside.

Peering through

windows broken

jagged

glass strewn

inside and out

ready made weapons to hand.

Prowling

not trying to hide my steps

I want you to know

I am coming

I am hunting

and until I find you

never shall I rest.

I remember perverted voice

cooing

caressing

oily insinuation.

My lip curls with disdain

only a monster

would abuse a lone child

nay

lone children

and think

your wealth

would keep judgement at bay.

Nothing will keep me from finding you.

Nothing will stay me;

for I come…..

Vengeance

sleek in the night

an unholy nightmare

forever keeping you awake.
