Liars are so Uncouth

I work with a liar. She has lied to both myself and K. She lied to another of our co-workers in last week too. It is becoming a habit.

I was livid. Livid. I grabbed my stool and went back to the front. Went back to cash while thoughts churned in my brain. Like I was going to have words with her. Or I would deliberately misunderstand what she says and go complain to K about her.

After awhile I calmed down. K reminded me not to let it ruin my day and I didn’t. My day still was awesome.

I did keep repeating the above to myself. Over and over again. 😁😁🤣🤣

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom

    1. I have made decision to be polite but nothing more. Will not tell her anything and take what she says with a grain of salt. It is wearying that so many people lie and the worst of it is is it is like they truly believe it! Which I get because my dad was like that. Lied through his teeth and believed it all.

  1. I still think all work and no break from home and work makes one grouchy. When is the last time you saw a movie in a theater, or went bowling, or played putt putt? If none of that appeals to you, maybe just go to the library for a change of scenery, or stroll around a museum or the zoo? Do you ever get to go anywhere but work and home?

    1. My recharge time is coming. Next Thursday 10 a.m. I start two weeks of holidays. Presently I have nothing planned besides spending time with myself and reconnecting to the things that are important to me. I need to get back to nature and enjoy the week that I have with T before school begins. Lots of R&R and no work people. I may even make T do the shopping if we need food. LOL 🙂
