Can’t Have a Tree

With one cat that loves to eat tinsel and another who chews on wires a Christmas tree is totally out of the question.

The other day I was at Dollarama and perused the Christmas aisle. And I stumbled across LED lights. Two strands multicolored and one soft white light strand.

Today I decided to string them up. The multicolored lights are 30 each strand. And I decided to wrap them around the wire running to T’s room for the Xbox. They will not be coming down. LOL a lot of over head work and balancing on the the tv/bookcase stand. Then a stool. Have to say I was quite pleased to discover the strand of white lights to be shorter.

I am sitting here now admiring my lights. Sipping a cup of coffee. I love Christmas lights. I love the sparkle. I love the giving. Most of all I love the giving.

Trying to find a gift that suits a person. One that they will use. Not just shove into the cupboard moving around every so often before finally going recycled to someone else.

I have T’s gift and L’s. I need a gift card yet for her. The ex is getting a hat with LED lights and a gift card. M (L’s son) gets a gift card. T, I need a few more things for him that will moat likely be clothing.

I also talked to Mom today and have to come up with some ideas for T for her. I will have to badger him for some ideas.

Christmas is coming. And I love Christmas.
