See no evil
hear no evil
speak no evil
do no evil
all common morals
so easy to hold true
yet time and time again
pictures paint a different scene.
Death
destruction
venom spewed
in vicious circles
one
two
three
drop the bombs
snipe the sniper
take down the drones
turn back the time
when forefathers ran the streets
guns in hand
shooting
lynching with impunity.
I watch
high upon the battlements
a sorceress
taking them out
one by one
while munching on my biscuits.
