Badass Jane 2-I am Fire

***This is fourth in the story poem I am writing. Previous poems are linked here:
Sensual
sexual
I leave men in my wake
each one salivating
for a simple glance.
Ashes follow
drifting to the ground
scorched lives
burnt
offerings to the gods
who grant me this power I have.
I move through the night
sliding through darkness
appearing behind your back
feel my lips
upon your neck
while I find your pulse.
This here…
this is why Jane hides away.
Only I have the hatred
courage
bravado
to rip their throats
in a spray of blood
silent screams
split smile
as I take our revenge.

Pretty Colors: Plain Jane

***This is the start of a story poem. I really enjoyed writing it.***

Pretty colors
dance along the walls
eyes following
tracing
seeing insanity written.
Vivid
brilliant
blinding
bewildering
the list goes on.
Emotions I feel
when the pills run out
and the little girl comes out to play.
Locked in a cell
thinking I have no escape
’til along came my other half
the badass bitch.
Compared to me
Plain Jane.
With the wave of her hand
the lock clicks free
I am able to follow
ready to run through the night.
I feel myself fading
as I become a part of Badass Jane
knowing
I was in for some fun.
