Clown of all Time

It began innocently enough

all thought it was a game

there is no way

voters are too smart

they would not believe that creep anyway.

Commercials abound

tearing down

eroding the very foundation

on which they stood upon.

Clamoring for war

upon silent victims

snarling at the damage done

by enemies real and imagined

until

suddenly everyone

who disagrees

is now an enemy of the state.

Ubiquitous

he became the face of a nation

which was torn down

rent apart

remade into a haven for some

whilst becoming a nightmare

for the rest of the populace.

Megalomaniac

With flashing red eyes

drool upon his lip

maddened by the frenzied crowd

he stands upon the dias

awaiting his future.

Disregarding fair play rules

he raged

he frothed

he made secret deals

to undermine the truth

which all were to live by.

Enemies were made to disappear

friends were pulled in close

there is no middle ground

only two groups

one had better pray

should they find themselves

on the Enemy of the State list.

Zealous

he incites riots

rage for those who disregard

his blatent lies

while holding his hands out for more…..

stroke his ego

make him feel like a god

time will come when he will fall.
