A different reality
A lying truth
Veneered over
Plastic face
You see a halo 
Upon diamond head
We see 
What is really there
Beneath the pin striped suit.
Bullets fly from fingertips
Words not witty
Amuse the basest of base
Stand upon the pulpit high
Fist raised
In Nazi salute.
No one wants a bully. 
No one wants the old guard.
Change is coming.
Heralded not with a lion's roar.
Not with false bravado.
With wired words
Razor sharp 
Pressing the hard truths home.
Old men gather
Heads slung low
Last of a decaying regime.
No one mourns their sudden loss
For nothing they gave
Came without strings
Or crosses to bear
Good riddance to them.

Ruination

Fire reigns down
Vivid slashes
Orange-red
Burn streaks across the sky.
Upon the earth
Stands Warrior true
Compassion
Empathy
A deep desire to cleanse the earth....
Of rot
Of corruption
Of death and denial
Of men who are so afraid to lose control
That they retain power
Using words to convince the world
That they are needed
They are required
To keep the machinations of the land
Running like clockwork
While holding out their hands.
Lips spread in disingenuous smile
Vile breath 
A black death 
To all it touches.
Sacred land
Savage slashes to black earth
Rain falls 
Sizzling soil 
Nutrients reduced
Molds rising
Blanketing all in corruption.
Decay.....
No one even tried
To hold it at bay.
