Throne of Ashes

Google eyed

lips twisted

snarling threats

each needle prick

another small death

another small drop of blood

to sate the earth.

Hungry

reaching for safety

knowing that there is none

that there will be no last minute rescue

brought this upon yourself you did

with all that silly play acting

thinking you knew……

Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha

Do you hear that?

Audience howling at your stupidity

watching wry humor

your downfall brought about

thought you did

that a fool kept his silence

while the righteous…..

The Righteous

proclaimed from heavens high

the appointment of god’s son

to lead us back to the fold.

Spoke you did

nary a moment went

that your mouth was not moving

slipping lies

sliding passed the truth

murky shades of grey

tumble to your grave.

There is a hierarchy 

you thought to surpass

ascension bought

and paid for

without struggle

without knowledge of reality.

Good-bye

so long

adieu

fall from sight

forgotten…..
