Christmas Party

Last night we had the work Christmas party. Got myself all dolled up. Hair was a tad frizzy not sure where all the humidity is coming from. Makeup on.

I have not been since 2017. There was embarrassment from my kaboom. Then I was cheap. Because $2 a paycheque was killing me. 🤪🤪🤪🤪 This year I rejoined

It was an awesome night. One of the girls came over before hand and we hung out. As we were talking I got excited and spilt coffee on my shirt and pants. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️☕️☕️☕️ I had other pants but as A pointed out to me brush them clean and no one can tell.

My shirt was a little damp and I hesitantly said I had looked at a different one but had changed my mind. A wanted to see it so I went and pulled it out. Showed it to her. And she told me I had to wear it. And it was so girly. But looked so pretty on me. And my make up matched.

The food was nothing to write home about. And coffee was like all bar coffee burnt tasting. Two cups and enough sugar to put my teeth on edge. I switched to Pepsi after.

And then began the gifts. I ended up with a new table lamp. Which was awesome because I needed one. But again cheap comes to mind. I have a decent one but wanted to update the look in the living room.

Fits so pretty

A and me left around 8:30-9 or so and came home to hang out. She asked me to read her cards which only mom has asked and I did not do our her (next summer mom) and it was interesting. She shuffled twice and both times The Fool turned up for her ‘future’ placement. However I think I need to look at other layouts and see.

A left around midnight and it was close to 1 when I finally crawled into bed. To be woken at 5:30 by cuddles and hisses and cats being cats.

I have worked out. Eaten breakfast. And now time to chill. Read. Make lunch. Nap. That one is important.
