Return to Sender

We met
I tumbled
You swore
Never to let me down
And yet
I am here
You are there
My heart torn asunder
From my chest
Blackened with vile breath
Diamond facets
Tasted salt
On my tongue
Dancing as your lips
Your tongue did
With wicked words
Caressing exposed flesh
Tempting me with blushing looks
Advent of feelings
None you returned
Unrequited Affection
Hell it hurts.

This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom

    1. Thank you so much. Today’s word was tricky but idea hit and away I went. I have been having surge of creativity. My no longer doofus believes he is responsible for my festive outpouring. Some are some aren’t. However he reads my blog daily. There was one poem where I called him a coward. He knows. He made sure to mention to me. Wanted to know if I had known he read would I have changed my writing. Like hell no. My poetry is mine and my expression. Just off work babbling about my true love of writing. πŸ€“πŸ’œπŸ€—
