Untitled Dark Poem #7

Beneath feet
sweat slicked stone
crackling
torches in wall sconce
shadows cackle
tumbling into ears
stoppered to pain
choice is here.
Denied truth
denied reality
captured
mocked
beaten
enslaved
men noble
men young
men old
taking
raping
making dolls
of children
of young women
in sick fantasies
made true
needle
thread
stitch her up
come again they will.
Woman
betrayed
scorned
flesh scored
twisted
nature once kind
vicious now
hissing
wrath reborn
eyes tinged green
harlot
madam
procurer of children
many do despise.
In darkness rent
wailing screams
a creature waits
grinning madness
eyes glitter
feral
biding time
all shall pay
demented hunter
once the hunted
now
the horn shall blow
releasing her from the gate
all…..
shiver
fright
look over shoulders
pray you are right
that she will not come in the night
 blade at ready
to take life
member
leave a living nightmare.

A single hard working mom of a soon to be teenage son. A poet and story teller I have wanted to write since I was a child. This space is where I share stories about myself and my life and the creative poetry that stirs my soul. My hope is you will pull up a chair and a cup of coffee delving into the world that I offer and you find simple enjoyment for a few moments. Welcome to The Wonderful & Wacky World of One Single Mom
