To all the Trolls I Loved Before (πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)

I wrote this in response to two trolling emails via my contact that I received. Does that mean I have made it? If I upset someone that much? Can you tell how funny I find this? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Face contorted

spittle flying

rage
so ugly making
words
used to attack
to tear down
what is feared.
Sit before your screen
back lit by your fury
your terror
that voices rise up
words combined
sentences created
marring your version of reality.
Vindictive
your voice the only to matter…..
sense of narcissism in that
such as you accuse others of having.
Hide behind anonymity
believe your tirade will garner notice
when in reality
we just hit the delete button.
Consigning you
your vile words
to the eternal trash bin
of the internet
forever to float
untethered
unnoticed
unheard
shoulder shrug
while you sit stewing
waiting for the next one.

I am a single hard working mom in her 40's. I have always written poetry and I love words. I live with depression and its ups downs. This is a space where I can create and write all that I need to.

  1. I’ve never had trolls, but I’ve gotten plenty of spammers in my comments, and some of the things they say are so embarrassing as you can tell they haven’t actually read anything on my blog(s)!

      1. LMAO!!! I have had people try to politely tell me what to do with my writing. Only one got pushy and then patronizing when I wouldn’t listen. I put up a scathing post warning people to NOT mess me with about my writing and I never heard back from that blogger again.

      2. In one of my short stories that were done in response to one of John’s writing prompts, someone commented on it and tried to tell me that I need to SHOW the story instead of TELL and that I needed to try this and that and I said that I HAD ALREADY DONE THAT IN THAT STORY!!!!
Then that blogger turned around and said ‘Okay. I’ll leave you alone. You can only write at the maturity [or whatever word that blogger used] that you have right now.’
        Ugggghhhh!!!!

      3. Yep, so true! I ended up deleting the post, anyway, after a little while as I realized that I didn’t need the post, I can just tell them off in the comments if and when they pop up again. It’s much more fun that way.

      4. Yeah. Reminds me of two jerks I’ve known – one I met during a course last year and the other I met online when I was briefly part of an RP group. They seem to do and/or say anything to keep attention on themselves.

  2. LOL you tell ’em girl. Funny as all get out, I wish I could see their face when they realise they have inspired you to new levels of writing and they are the witless subject. Trolls, we all get them, I tend to play with mine lol I have a lot of fun before I block their sorry asses! Love the poem, love the ‘who gives a flying one?’ attitude even more! My kind of Lady Bard!! xβ™₯x πŸ’–

    1. I only lost one follower lol after I posted. My life is too important to spend my time worrying over some pissant who is afraid of strong independent women. And if said pissant is female well that just makes me so sad. Anyways on to bigger and better things. And more writing the way I like to write. All sweetness and thorns and sexy and I will slit a throat if you push me too far no set genre writer. I love me. I am proud of what I write. I will never bow to anyone and no one will ever dictate how to write. Sorry small slip of rage there.

      1. Well said, and justifiably felt I believe. We love you too btw, your writing feeds your readers, it’s only the occasionally cockroach that slips in every now and then. Bottom feeders they are darling, nothing to worry about. We stamp on them when they hiss at us and give themselves away πŸ’–πŸ’‹

    1. It was only two emails and I am not worried. Not everyone is going to like my writing and not everyone is going to like my story. I am not here for them I am here for myself and those who do enjoy my works. There is a follow/unfollow button for a reason.

    1. I had to because it was so damn funny. I have never been called a narcissist before or told I had to submit to my husband after I returned to him. Omg I cried I laughed so hard at that one. Obviously has only read certain parts of blog. And the WOD is Vile so it all worked. 😝😝
